Thank you for advice re the OT etc. I will get a GP appt and discuss it with him/her. I know many of us on here do have a very good OT who provides lots of help and equipment, so its time I got this organised. Would love to be able to get into the bath, so maybe that could be something to look at. Kitchen gadgets too, cant open jars etc, have problems opening the little ones beaker cups. Wanted the podiatrist due to feet becoming very flat on inside, and shoe wearing becoming a problem. Will get onto this and see how it goes xBARBARA

Hi Barbs aww good luck hun re O and feet too,that good idea re bath aid etc. take care melly cuddly cats make my world seem so much more fun

Hi Barb
I hope you get some satisfaction with the OT. I rang my local Social Services, and a very nice young lady came out, looked around the house and then decided what I needed. I got the items the following week, so I was very grateful to her. She said to let her know if I needed anything else.
